Connect "Support At A Distance"

There may be times when you need to provide outplacement support for people who work away from your main base, and where One-to-One support is not appropriate, and where numbers and locations do not support setting up Group Workshops. Connect can help, and will provide a personal and valuable service to each of the individuals affected.

As an example, a major IT company asked Connect to work with field engineers who were scattered across the UK, with little contact with each other - how would Connect provide high quality support to these people?

The answer lay in establishing contact by telephone and email for each individual with a Connect consultant - their own "At a Distance" support. We backed up the support from the consultant with access to the Connect website and encouraged all the individuals to log in to its range of exercises, advice and links.

Our consultants contacted each individual and arranged a planned series of phone calls, aimed at working on the candidate's specific questions and concerns. We were delighted with the feedback from the field engineers - many positive comments about how the support from Connect had helped them to move forward positively.
