Harrogate Conference

The last week in October saw us exhibiting in Harrogate at the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development Annual Conference and Exhibition.

The theme of the Connect stand was a cocktail bar (see photo). Serving only non-alcoholic cocktails,
it met with pleasure and disappointment in equal measure but was generally agreed to be a welcome
oasis in a very large exhibition centre.

For three days we were rushed off our feet meeting many old friends and making plenty of new ones.
We also talked to a number of very interesting people who stopped by for a drink and a chat.
We were delighted to see you all and will keep you up to date with our activities if you signed up for
our quarterly newsletter.

Another big success was our Connect carry bags, which being made of fabric are reusable. Among the comments on potential uses for our bags were the following; for dog grooming equipment, a peg bag, to store gym kit, football boots, travel bag and many others.

More importantly so many people registered an interest in Connect's outplacement and career services that we shall probably be kept busy until next year's event.
