Executive Outplacement Support

Executive outplacementConnect Executive Outplacement Support is a specialist package aimed at senior managers and executives. It offers a high level of personally tailored support from our senior consultants, and a flexible package of benefits.

A typical Executive Programme will include:

  • A confidential introductory face to face meeting with a personal senior consultant, to agree the candidate's objectives, priorities and career aspirations.

  • Regular face to face meetings with the consultant developing a programme tailored to the candidate's needs.

  • Unrestricted access to the consultant by email and telephone in between face to face meetings to maintain momentum and progress.

  • Unlimited critiques and advice on the candidate's progress, including help with CVs, letters of application, self marketing including interview techniques.

  • Twelve months access to the unique Connect Career Tools website, to enable the candidate to plan his/her ongoing career campaign, preferences and direction and to analyse and assess their personal development strategy for the future.

  • Twelve months access to the Connect Career Outplacement website, which will supplement the personal consultations and enable the candidate to maintain high levels of motivation.

  • Assistance with selecting suitable recruitment agencies, networking and accessing the hidden job market.

  • Guidance on "Settling into your new job" with help and advice on acclimatising to the new role and rapidly assimilating important information within the first 90 days of the candidate's new job.

Optional additions include: -

  • Membership of the Institute of Directors for one year including the initial one-off election fee and subscription. The IoD offers members unlimited access to their private meeting rooms and network opportunities at their offices throughout the UK, training and development programmes, access to a wealth of business information, including market research and four free consultations with a specialist adviser each year.

  • Comprehensive psychometric assessments which can include questionnaires and/or tests such as the following: -
    Personality Profiling using reliable instruments such as OPQ and MBTI,
    Career Identification using interest measures (e.g. SHL CareerPathfinder) and values assessment,
    Level of Intellectual Capacity using Watson Glaser critical thinking and numerical skills.
    Specifically focused psychometrics such as Strengthscope.

  • Personal Style and branding skills

    Individual impact at meetings, public speaking and handling the media
