Connect launches Personality, Style and Strength (PSS) AssessmentConnect is pleased to announce the addition to our website of a psychometric questionnaire compiled and validated by qualified practitioners in occupational psychology. The test, which will appear under the module called "Your Personal Style", is designed to be self-administered by candidates and to provide them with feedback on their personality type in terms of styles, strengths and qualities. The output defines the candidate's personality and associates their style with typical career roles in which they may feel comfortable. The objective is also to broaden their thinking on future career opportunities that may be suitable for them and which they may never have considered. As with all psychometrics, the instrument can also be administered by a qualified practitioner if a more comprehensive assessment is required. The basis of the questionnaire is Jung's theory of personality, research into brain functionality and field observations. Much work has been done on validating the test in terms of content, construction and validity and details are available to anyone who wishes to know more about this.
