Connect is to be a sponsor of a major endurance event, scheduled to take place from Sunday 25 to Saturday 31 July.

A team of intrepid runners from Marlborough Running Club will attempt the Coast-to-Coast route - 190 miles from St Bees Head in Cumbria to Robin Hood's Bay on the Yorkshire coast. The route covers more than 7 marathons in 7 days, and around 15,000 feet of climb (just to make it a challenge).

Connect will be sponsoring the team, making a contribution towards the cost of minibus hire. The runners are raising money for Macmillan Cancer Relief.
